Worth the drive on their own

Apple Cider Donuts, Fried From Our Own Cider

Most cider donuts near Kansas City start with cider from a jug. Ours starts in the rows: apples off our own 17,000 trees, pressed into cider, folded into the batter, fried through the day and rolled in cinnamon sugar while they’re still too hot to hold.

Get them by the half dozen and eat the first one in the parking lot like everybody else does. Pair with a cider slushie in the heat or a hot spiced cider once the sweaters come out.

What's in the Bakery Case

Everything Starts in the Rows

The bakery doesn’t order fruit, it walks out and picks it. Apples for the donuts, peaches for the freezer case, cherries for the jam, all grown on this hill by this family for two generations.
