Applefest is downtown Weston’s harvest festival, put on by the Weston Chamber of Commerce on the first weekend of October. Historic Weston Orchard is one of the three official free shuttle lots. Park here for nothing, ride the free shuttle into town, and pick apples on your way back to the car.

Applefest runs the first weekend of October, Saturday and Sunday, in downtown Weston. Admission to the festival is free. The shuttle from the orchard is free. A farm ticket is the only thing on this page that costs anything, and it is optional.
Applefest lands on the first weekend of October. The Chamber has not published its 2026 calendar yet, so we are leaving these two dates blank rather than printing something we cannot stand behind. Call us at (816) 640-4013 and we will tell you what we know.

The parking lot search everybody is doing
Applefest brings roughly 30,000 people into a town of about 1,600. That arithmetic is the whole reason the shuttle lots exist. There are three of them: Weston High School, Weston Elementary School, and here at the orchard.
We are at 18545 County Road H, Weston, MO 64098. Look for the red and white Historic Weston Orchard & Vineyard sign at the entrance. Parking is free, and you do not need a farm ticket to leave your car here and get on the bus.
Shuttles from all three lots drop riders on Thomas Street in downtown Weston, and run back out to the lots all weekend long. Same bus, same stop, both directions.
It is the Chamber’s festival, and it is worth your Saturday
Applefest belongs to downtown Weston and the Weston Chamber of Commerce runs it. We are the parking lot, not the host. Here is the shape of the weekend so you can plan around it.
It comes down Main Street at 10am on Saturday. Saturday is the bigger of the two days, so if the parade is the reason you are coming, catch an early shuttle.

The Chamber programs kids’ activities downtown. If they still have anything left in the tank afterwards, we have sixteen more waiting at the farm.
The Weston Chamber of Commerce publishes the official Applefest schedule, the vendor map and the parade lineup at the Weston Chamber of Commerce website. We are the shuttle lot, so treat them as the last word on times and street closures.
You are already parked here
The bus brings you back to a fifty acre farm with roughly 17,000 apple trees on it. We are open that weekend. A farm ticket is separate from Applefest, and it opens the whole place.
Apples run mid-August through November across the rows. The pumpkin patch is open in the fall, and you pick from the vine, not from a pile. Fruit is priced by weight after you pick it, so the ticket is the ticket and the fruit is the fruit.
We press our own cider and the donuts are made from it, fried through the day rather than trucked in. The bakery also runs cider slushies, hot spiced cider, caramel apples and kettle corn.
One ticket covers all sixteen, plus the hayrack ride, parking and a picking bag. In fall that means the two-acre corn maze, hay mountain, the apple cannons and the Apple Express running alongside the jumping pillow, the ziplines, the treehouse village, the petting zoo and the giant slide. No tokens, no wristbands, no upsell at every corner.

Applefest is free. The farm is not.
Applefest costs nothing to attend and the shuttle costs nothing to ride. A farm ticket is a separate purchase, and it is what gets you into the orchard, the patch and all sixteen activities.

Yes. Parking at Historic Weston Orchard is free during Applefest, and so is the shuttle into downtown Weston. We are one of the three official shuttle lots, along with Weston High School and Weston Elementary School.
No. Parking and the shuttle are free and separate from farm admission. You only need a farm ticket if you want to come into the orchard for apple picking, the pumpkin patch and the sixteen activities.
