Who Grows This Fruit
Erik and Kilee Olson run Historic Weston Orchard and Vineyard. They are a fifth-generation farm family, and the second generation to work this particular ground.
If you have seen the farm on TikTok, you have met Erik. He is the one in the rows with a phone in one hand, usually explaining something about apples that nobody asked about. He is also the one who answers the questions when you walk into the market.
Two of the wines in the Cider Barn are named after family. That is about as corporate as the naming process gets around here.

USA Today named Historic Weston Orchard and Vineyard one of the top ten orchards in the country. We are still the same family farm on the same county road, and the fruit still gets picked by whoever shows up.

What You Can Expect Here
We would rather tell you plainly what this farm is, so you can decide whether it is your kind of afternoon.
- It is a working farm, not a set. The rows are real, the ground is uneven, and what is ripe changes week to week.
- One ticket covers everything. No tokens, no wristbands, no upsell at every corner. You pay for what you pick and what you eat.
- Open every day, 9am to 5pm, May through November. Including Mondays and Sunday mornings, which is more than most orchards here can say.
- The fruit is grown here. The cider in the donuts is pressed from our own apples. The wine comes off our own vines.
- You will meet the family. There is no corporate office. If you have a question about the fruit, ask whoever is standing in it.
- Weston is worth the trip on its own. We sit just outside a historic river town with a main street worth an afternoon.
Come Stand in the Rows
Something is ready almost every month from May to November. Bring the whole crew, take your time, and eat a cider donut in the parking lot like everybody else does.
