Learning you can taste
A Working Farm, Not a Field Trip Set
This isn’t a petting-zoo-and-parking-lot farm visit. Students tour a real producing orchard and vineyard: 17,000 apple trees, peach and cherry rows, grape vines on the bluffs, and the cidery and bakery they feed. Everything they learn about, they can see, touch, and in season, pick.
Trips are tailored to your group’s age and curriculum, and the same play zones every visitor gets are here for the burn-off-energy hour.
Four ways to learn the farm
Educational Programs
Mix and match to fit your day and your curriculum. Every program is led by farm staff on the ground where it happens.
Walk the rows
Guided Orchard & Vineyard Tour
How fruit grows, how pollination works, and how a sustainable working farm runs season to season, taught standing in the middle of one.
Tree to table
Farm-to-Table Learning
Follow apples, peaches and grapes from the branch to the table, through the bakery, the press and the market, and understand every step in between.
In season
Hands-On Harvesting
When the season lines up, students pick their own apples or berries and carry the lesson home in a bag. Check the picking calendar to time it.
Press & pollinators
Cider & Honey Production
See how fresh cider gets made and learn why bees are the quiet workforce behind every apple on the farm.
